Jessie Leov
Jessie’s musical work features three mini-movements based around piano and voice. Three Reflections prioritises the universality of music and its ability to transcend language, racial and ethnic barriers.
Originally from Whakatū, Nelson, Jessie is a composer, arranger, and musician with a diverse background in the arts. Her work has been performed or workshopped by ensembles such as Voices NZ Chamber Choir, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Chamber Choir, NZTrio, Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, and Red Scare Theatre Company.
